Madeley HERS... Madeley Heritage Economic Regeneration Scheme (HERS) aims to contribute to the revitalisation of the commercial heart of Madeley.
HERS works to maintain, enhance and improve the quality of the historic buildings within central Madeley Conservation Area.
The scheme will run until 2007 providing grant aid to period properties within the Conservation Area. The project is jointly funded by the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, English Heritage and Madeley Parish Council.
Grant aid may be available for repairs to structure and fabric of the building such as roof line repairs, window and door repairs/restoration, re-pointing, render repairs, etc.
Grant aid may be available for restoration or re-instatement to architectural details; tiling, cast iron guttering, decorative ironwork, chimney pots, decorative fascia boards, walls to the frontage, etc.
