What's new at the Park Lane Centre

Womens Self Protection: Learn how to protect yourself and improve your confidence, fitness and vitality. Mondays 10am – 11am, Wednesdays 7pm – 8pm.

Strictly Ballroom – Ballroom Dancing: Learn to dance like the stars! New beginners' dancing course. Learn dances like the waltz, quickstep, foxtrot, cha cha cha, samba and jive. Fully qualified dance teachers. Mondays 1pm – 3pm.

Tai Chi: Known as “moving meditation”, Tai Chi is a series of slow, controlled movements, developing strength, balance, posture, and calm. Wednesdays 10am – 12pm.

Citizens Advice Bureau: Whoever you are, whatever the problem. Free impartial, confidential & independent information & advice. Drop in sessions – no appointment needed. Thursdays 10am – 12.30pm.

Pre-Access Course: Pre-Access is a general “return to learn” course but it is also particularly useful as preparation to join one of the Access to Higher Education courses for adults at Telford College, which start in September. These provide mature students with a second chance to prepare for a course at university, even though they do not have GCSEs or A-Levels. Fridays 9.15am – 12.15pm

Lili May's Dance Classes: Children's dance classes - ballet, tap and modern street dancing. Fridays (term-time only) from 4pm onwards

Aerobics: New aerobics class – get fit and make new friends. Saturdays 11am – 12pm.

Drumming and Music Workshop: Have fun and learn how to play music. Saturdays 1pm – 3pm

There are rooms to suit every occasion - for small meetings or large meetings, for family or social occasions. There is meeting space available during the day and the evening and Great Oak (the large hall) is available for hire at weekends, both in the day and evening.
