Annual Parish Meeting

Thursday 21 May at 7pm at Jubilee House, High St, Madeley

Light refreshments will be available, and Madeley Parish Councillors will be on hand to answer your questions and discuss any matters of concern.

Join us for the launch of our new series of FREE Parish leaflets on local history

Researched and produced by Madeley Living History Project and a band of dedicated local volunteers, the first in the series include:

Parish People 1: The tragic tale of Major ‘CAL’ Yate, Madeley’s own World War I hero
Parish Places 1: The history of Lumley Hall – the well known landmark on Madeley High Street. Do you know its original function?
Parish Pastimes 1: The fascinating background and characters of Madeley Amateur Dramatic Society

Residents of the Parish are welcome to attend - members of the History group will be happy to talk about the project and tell you more about these new publications.
